Privacy policy
Football Mania has no accounts, no logins and no user profiles. This page explains exactly what is collected anyway, why, and what you can do about it.
The short version
If you read nothing else, read this.

Who is responsible
The controller for the processing described here is Sportalize B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands and the publisher of the Football Mania apps, football-mania.com, holoduke.nl and LiveScore MCP.

What we process, and why
Each row is something that genuinely happens. Nothing here is aspirational.

What we do not collect: no name, no email address, no phone number, no password, no date of birth, no gender, no contacts, no photos, no precise GPS location, and no cross-app tracking of our own.
Who else is involved
Running an app this size means using other people’s infrastructure. These are the ones that can see data.

Google and Apple are United States companies and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Our own servers are inside the EEA.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of any personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also withdraw consent at any time.
In practice, because there is no account, we usually hold nothing that identifies you personally — which makes some of these requests short to answer. Where we do hold something (a push token, a chat message), tell us enough to find it and we will act.
Doing it yourself, immediately
- Stop notifications: turn off the toggle for a team in the app, or revoke notification permission in your device settings. The token is then unused and eventually deleted.
- Reset advertising: Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads, or iOS → Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can reset or delete the advertising ID there.
- Change ad consent: reopen the consent prompt from the app’s settings screen.
- Remove everything local: uninstalling the app clears your favourites and settings, which live on the device.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — but you also have the right to complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in your own country.
Children
Football Mania is a general-audience sports app and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the higher age set by local law). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data — a chat message, for instance — write to us and we will remove it.
The website and LiveScore MCP
holoduke.nl sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It loads a web font from Google Fonts and fetches live scores from our own server; nothing else leaves your browser. There is no tracking script on this page.
football-mania.com shows advertising and therefore does set cookies and similar identifiers, subject to the consent prompt you see on your first visit.
LiveScore MCP has no accounts and no user data. It is read-only, it stores nothing about who asked what, and it keeps only the short-lived request counts needed to enforce its rate limit.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and the new version is published here. Continuing to use the apps after that means the updated policy applies.
